Session Description
Our presentation will frame college counseling through a diversity, equity and inclusion lens. Considering the unique needs of three different school populations in the Washington, DC area, our presentation will highlight programmatic approaches to promoting college access for all students. Counselors and college access providers will be challenged to consider the following question: Based on the needs of my school population, how is my program meeting students where they are?
