Session Abstract

This case study aims to discuss instructional strategies for designing active learning courses of learning a second language for immigrants with limited education or illiterate—the main contents including designing lesson plans in and out of the classrooms and developing their learning skills.

Session Description

Immigrant adults with limited education will face lots of challenges in their lives and at works. Gaining study skills and mastering the second language could help them better adapt to the life and career development in the new country while also helping to reduce the unequal treatment they may encounter.
