Session Abstract
Online interactions use tools that may not be used in a traditional environment. If you feel overwhelmed or frightened by those tools this session is for you! This hands-on session will introduce the basics of social media and virtual collaboration platforms. No question is too big or too simple.
Session Description
Feedback to AAACE leadership has indicated many educators are uncomfortable with basic technology tools such as social media platforms and collaboration tools like google docs. This session will provide participants with an introduction to the use of those tools and show how they can be applied to educational settings. The goal is to help empower educators as a way to build a bridge for them to be comfortable using technology both in and outside of the classroom.
