Session Description
In the Covid 19 pandemic, college students encounter multiple stressors and uncertainties as they quickly transitioned from face-to-face classroom interaction to an online learning format. With the increased risk of experiencing mental health issues due to social isolation, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness, students are left vulnerable and need access to psychosocial support. In this session, the presenter discusses how online expressive and inquiry writing could be used to help college students reflect on their experiences and develop resilience. Through reflection, students can learn how to cope with the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
