Room 2
Short Description

The United States has one of the largest refugee resettlement programs in the world. Moreover, refugees face unique and complex economic issues across various domains. Despite these challenges, the economic lives of refugees, especially their public assistance use, have not been studied much in the previous literature. Using the Annual Survey of Refugees, this research advances the literature by examining the factors related to public assistance use of the refugees who recently resettled to the U.S.
