Short Description

Consumer data privacy law in the United States is being developed at the state level.  Big Tech is highly involved in influencing the law, seeking to pre-empt strong consumer protection.  ACCI members need to be aware of the tools consumers need and to pay attention to what is happening in their states so they can help ensure that srong consumer protection and education is provided on consumer data privacy.  Learn lessons from those who already have state law and be prepared when a proposal is made in your state.
