Paper (30 minutes = 20 minutes paper presentation + 10 minutes discussion)
This paper presentation explores a “native” English-speaking teacher utilizing translingual-transnational approaches to destabilize monolingual-monocultural norms in a U.S. high school ESL context and is of interest to language teacher educators in areas of TESOL and world languages in K-16 educational contexts, especially in geographic areas dominated by monoglossic language ideologies.
