Program Summary
Teachers often experience challenges when designing task-based lessons. The examination of pre-service teachers’ task sequences and their reflections about those sequences and their pedagogical beliefs reveal misunderstandings about TBLT and conflicts between TBLT and those beliefs as possible sources of those challenges. Implications for language teacher education are discussed.
