This presentation explores the knowledge base and challenge-/competence-appraisal of future two-way immersion teachers from the newly designed bilingual curriculum “Cursus bilingue / Bilingualer Studiengang” in Switzerland. Based on these results, research-based and practitioner-informed implications for an induction program for beginning two-way immersion teachers in their career-entry stage are presented.
