Theorizing Practice, Practicing Theory: 12th International Language Teacher Education Conference

Paper (30 minutes = 20 minutes paper presentation + 10 minutes discussion)

The presenter explores language teacher identity through an autoethnographic account of the first month of teaching during the 2022 school year at an urban high school as an English as a new language teacher.  Then the presenter will explore avenues to use autoethnography in the language teacher educator context.
