Program Summary

What makes some language teachers thrive while others struggle? Is it the individual, the environment, or both? What can teacher educators do about it? This research revealed global patterns of (dis)empowerment faced by U.S. language teachers that answer these critical questions and provide guidance on developing more effective teacher education.
