Program Summary

This presentation discusses legislation in states nationwide related to the Seal of Biliteracy (SoBL) and explores the ways that legislation impacts student achievement in obtaining the SoBL. Language teachers are major participants in shaping education policy, so language teacher education should prepare teachers to navigate legislation.
