Program Summary

This presentation reports on a self-study that examines an intervention in a Chilean EFL teacher education program, where 'reasoning teaching' was employed to enhance pedagogical skills in preservice teachers. Focusing on reasoning instead of rote teaching, it shifted feedback from directive to dialogic, leading to autonomous reflection among educators.
