Program Summary

This paper examines the process used to review and revise the ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines, used for teacher credentialling and student language assessment. Results will show the effectiveness of the process to include multiple audiences to improve the descriptors and ways to use the revised Guidelines for language teacher education.
