Session Description

Join award-winning scholar and founder of March Mammal Madness Katie Hinde as she discusses how human minds are adapted for sharing stories about wild animals and how these lessons underlie the success of March Mammal Madness (MMM). Classroom strategies that challenge students' preconceived notions about evolutionary fitness will be shared, and teachers will receive materials that help students evaluate how two completely different groups of organisms can develop the same adaptations.
