Abstract

The Hebrew University Spatial Catalog is a GIS-based platform offering access to historical maps and aerial photographs by location. Integrated with the library’s Primo/AlmaD system, it supports advanced search, filtering, and access to high-resolution images, some available for purchase. The spatial catalog includes ~30,000 scanned aerial photos and ~20,000 maps (6,000 scanned), all catalogued with metadata in the library’s catalog. It is designed to easily absorb additional collections with a geospatial component. The platform serves researchers, professionals, and the public, promoting broad academic and non-academic use. Accessible  in Chrome browser at https://geohub.huji.ac.il.
