The Writing Way: Mindful Writing for ELLs
Abstract
Teachers of ELLs must increase student proficiency in written academic English. However, personal issues often impact ELLs' learning. Research shows that mindful expressive writing can help students heal and grow. This session engages participants in mindful writing that can help ELLs develop resilience, increase writing proficiency, and engage with content.
