Learning Objectives
  1. Identify the various types of web content their library sends out into the world in order to employ a cohesive strategy.
  2. Practice empathy for users emotional state in order to write appropriate web content.
  3. Initiate the development of voice and tone guidelines in order to establish a unified personality for their library on the web.
Abstract

Writing responsively enhances the user experience. Framing content as a touchpoint, this session will discuss the ways and states in which users arrive at library content. Attendees will learn about various types of web copy libraries create and strategies to approach each with empathy, plus brainstorm around voice and tone.
