Does Oral Corrective Feedback Work? Empirically-supported Insights for Improving Intelligibility
viernes, el 3 de mayo de 2013 a las 14:30–15:15 EDT
4 Ashland (125)
Session Abstract
Learners report wanting grammar and pronunciation corrective feedback more than teachers report being willing or comfortable providing it. Missing or mispronounced noun and verb endings are stigmatizing and can impact intelligibility. This presentation offers practice with the minimally essential feedback components necessary to increase accuracy and intelligibility in spontaneous speech.
